Natasha Stiven

Recently graduated from ALRA, credits whilst training include Sasha in Anton Chekhov’s ‘Ivanov’, Nerissa in Shakespeare’s ‘The Merchant of Venice’ and Pip in Charles Dickens’ ‘Great Expectations’, directed by Andrew Whyment.  Whilst training at ALRA Natasha also wrote and directed her own piece of feminist theatre, ‘Cassie’, which is based in Greek mythology and explores the issue of sexual assault in academic institutions; this is a project she plans on developing further in the near future.


Scottish-born Natasha has led a very multicultural life, having lived in Kenya as a child, studied English Literature and Film at university in Edinburgh and worked as an actor in Australia for several years.  Australian stage roles include Alice in ‘Closer’ by Patrick Marber and a devilish gypsy and a Goddess in West Australian Opera’s production of Charles Gounod’s ‘Faust’.  Whist in Australia she also acted as body double to Jessica De Gouw in sci-fi feature ‘OtherLife’.
